Original Flow is a boundary-pushing hip-hop artist, songwriter, and producer based in Oklahoma City. With a poetic voice and magnetic stage presence, Flow blends conscious lyricism with rich storytelling, using his music as a tool for both celebration and change.
Early in his career, Flow made waves in his hometown, landing the cover of Local Heat magazine as one of Oklahoma City's hottest emerging talents. He quickly made history by becoming the fastest local artist to earn regular rotation on 104.9 FM, one of the city’s most popular stations for playing the hottest music. His lyrical prowess also gained national attention on Sway in the Morning's "Put Em in the Game or Put Em on the Bench”, where he made a lasting impression with his performance.
More than just an artist, Original Flow is a dedicated community advocate. He has partnered with prominent musicians and organizations to raise funds for U.S. Grant High School and Thomas Jefferson Middle School, and helped send a terminally ill child to Cavett Kids Foundation Camp, demonstrating his belief in using music to give back and uplift.
Flow’s acclaimed album Blackmankidboy—featuring the NPR-recognized single “Lately”—was named to NPR’s Heavy Rotation list. The album is a deeply personal narrative of Black vulnerability, resilience, and triumph. It reflects on the threats to Black life while celebrating the joy, softness, and freedom of Black boyhood.
He is also a core member of Fire in Little Africa, a historic collective signed by Motown Records that commemorates the Tulsa Race Massacre through hip-hop. With the group, Flow has performed at prestigious venues, including a special performance at Harvard University and a showcase in partnership with the Oprah Winfrey Network.
Original Flow’s high-energy performances have earned him major stage time at large-scale events such as Norman Music Festival, where he performed on the Mainstage in front of crowds exceeding 100,000 attendees.
With an unshakable commitment to authenticity, community, and creativity, Original Flow continues to redefine what it means to be a modern hip-hop artist—using his voice to inspire, uplift, and shift culture forward.
